The popular game "Simon Says" is an excellent approach to practise following instructions. It teaches your child to listen for "Simon says" and then follow the directions that come with it. You may adjust the difficulty of the game to your child's ability level and raise the difficulty as the game continues. Start with a simple command like "raise your hands" and work your way up to "count to five, touch your knees, and announce your name." You can even exchange roles and have your child play Simon for a fun twist!
