Getting started with our online Malayalam classes for kids is easy. The first step is
a short call with you, the parent. We’ll learn about your child, their current
Malayalam exposure, and what you’re looking for. We’ll also explain how our
classes work. Once you’re comfortable, we’ll finalize a schedule that suits
your child and begin the registration process.

Absolutely! Our beginner Malayalam learning class online is designed for children
with zero exposure. We start from the very beginning with letters and sounds,
using English for support, and progress at your child's comfortable pace.
Yes, that may be possible. We’ll do a short assessment first to see what your
child already knows. If they’ve mastered Level 1 skills, they can start from
Level 2 right away.
Our classes are exclusively for children and teens up to 16 years old. We do not
offer classes for adults, as our programs are specially designed to meet the
learning needs of young learners.
Each class is 30 minutes long—just the right length to keep children engaged.
Classes are held twice a week as a minimum commitment, which helps ensure
steady progress. During holidays or if families prefer faster learning, we
can schedule additional sessions.
Yes. Your child will have one dedicated tutor for each learning stage, so they can
build a strong bond. If she is ever unavailable, another tutor will step in to
ensure learning continues smoothly.
No, and in fact we recommend that parents don’t sit in. This helps your child
build trust and independence with their teacher. Of course, we’ll keep you
updated and work with you outside of class time to support your child’s progress.
We do not offer spoken-only Malayalam classes. Our online Malayalam classes
for kids take a holistic approach, integrating reading and writing to build
a strong vocabulary foundation. This holistic method of Akshharam ensures
children can truly use the language.
We offer classes across time zones and are available from 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM IST,
7 days a week. Together, we’ll find a slot that fits your child’s daily routine.
Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
If your tutor is unavailable, a substitute tutor may step in. If not, we’ll reschedule the class at
a time that works for you.
If the issue is on our side, we’ll make up the lost time by extending a session or
offering a catch-up class. For issues at your end, we’ll do our best to adjust,
but compensation isn’t possible.
Absolutely. We create personalized materials like worksheets, practice readers, and
flashcards specifically for your child's level and progress to ensure they learn best.
No, we do not offer materials for separate purchase. Every child’s learning journey is
unique, so our materials are created specifically for each child as they progress
through the classes.
No special gadgets are needed. Regular notebooks and pencils are perfect.
You’ll need a stable internet connection, a quiet space, and a notebook with a pencil.
Once your child is enrolled, we’ll share detailed instructions and guidelines to help
you prepare for the first class and ensure a smooth start.
